Unitech International's Committee of Creditors (CoC) has unanimously approved key resolutions in its first meeting under the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process. Mr. Mayur Rajendrakumar Popat has been appointed as the Resolution Professional, a crucial step in guiding the company through its insolvency proceedings. The CoC also approved the appointment of three valuers to assess asset values, ratified the existing security personnel, and authorized the RP to manage future CoC meetings with short notice. Costs related to the CIRP, including the Interim Resolution Professional's fees, and appointments of a Company Secretary and an accountant were also approved. This marks significant progress in the company's insolvency resolution.
