Minister Uppuletti Kumar Reddy affirmed the government's commitment to providing enhanced irrigation facilities for farmers. He inaugurated and laid foundations for projects worth `54.03 Cr for the Rajiv Shanti Nagar Lift Irrigation scheme and `5.10 Cr for a new branch office. These initiatives are poised to irrigate 2.29 lakh acres across the Kodad constituency. A future `54.03 Cr project will specifically provide water to 5000 acres, benefiting 2138 farmer families in Ananthagiri and Kodad mandals. This robust infrastructure push aims to significantly boost agricultural output and farmer livelihoods.
