Ashapura Minechem reported strong Q1 FY26 financial results, with consolidated income from operations at INR 13.55 Cr, up 89.8% YoY, primarily driven by Guinea's bauxite business, which accounted for 79.3% of the top line. EBITDA grew 106.8% YoY to INR 187.73 Cr, with margins expanding to 13.85%. PBT increased 102.5% YoY to INR 131.84 Cr, and EPS stood at INR 11.5.

Management expects continued momentum from Guinea operations, targeting 15 million tons of bauxite exports by FY27-28, up from Q1 FY26's >2 million tons. Port capacity is expanding from 16 million to 27 million metric tons by Q1 FY27. An iron ore business, in its final development stages, will contribute to profitability. India's business is focused on organic growth, capacity expansion, and high-value product innovation from its R&D centers.

The company has invested over $135 million in Guinea's infrastructure and mining. Management highlighted a long-term vision, focusing on the increasing demand for bauxite due to aluminum's role in EVs and solar panels. The tone was confident, emphasizing sustainable growth and enhanced investor transparency.
