Jaykay Enterprises' wholly owned subsidiary, JK Digital & Advance Systems, has executed a technology transfer agreement with the Central Scientific Instruments Organisation. This agreement allows for the indigenous manufacturing of advanced 3D-printed lattice orthopedic implants using additive manufacturing technology for a 7-year period. It covers seven types of spinal and hip implants. This move is a major step for the company, reinforcing its strategy to provide affordable healthcare solutions, reduce import dependence, and support the 'Make in India' initiative, positioning it as an early Indian player in this advanced medical device segment.
