Suraj Industries' Board has approved two acquisitions of equity shares in Carya Chemicals & Fertilizers, a distillery company. The company will acquire 22,73,234 shares for 2.86 Cr and 41,05,120 shares for 5.17 Cr, totaling 8.04 Cr at Rs. 12.60 per share. This move will increase Suraj Industries' stake in Carya from 85.75% to 95.44%, consolidating its holding in the bottling and future alcohol distillery business. Additionally, the Board has approved a Rights Issue to raise up to 120 Cr through partly-paid equity shares from eligible shareholders.
