Sampre Nutritions has clarified its bonus equity share issue. The Board approved a 1:1 bonus issue, meaning one bonus share of face value INR 5 for every existing fully paid-up share of INR 5, following a proposed share split. This corrects an earlier announcement. The bonus shares, totaling 4.31 crore shares worth 21.56 Cr, will be issued from the company's securities premium account, which holds 59.87 Cr. This action will double the paid-up capital to 8.62 crore shares and also significantly increase the authorized share capital. Bonus shares are expected to be credited within two months of board approval.
