Gujarat Natural Resources Ltd — Important, 22-09-2025: Company Update

Gujarat Natural Resources Limited (GNRL) has completed its third development well, Kl3, in the Kanawara field, despite monsoon-related delays. The well successfully encountered a 20-meter oil bearing zone. GNRL plans hydraulic fracturing for Kl3, aiming for commercial production by early October. Meanwhile, a drilling rig is mobilizing for the fourth well, with operations expected to begin in early October. From then onwards, GNRL will operate two drilling rigs: one continuing in Kanawara, and a second commencing a 3000-meter deep well in the wholly owned North Kathana field. This strategic expansion significantly boosts GNRL's operational capacity and future production prospects.
