REC's subsidiary incorporated two Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), Kempegowda Power Transmission and Barmer HVDC Power Transmission, with 0.05 Cr paid-up capital each. These SPVs will facilitate 400 kV Karnataka and 6 GW Rajasthan power evacuation projects, to be transferred to winning bidders.
