Jujhar Constructions and Travels has launched an open offer to acquire up to 26% of CDG Petchem's expanded capital at ₹41 per share, seeking to gain management control. This follows an acquisition of existing shares at ₹35 and a preferential issue at ₹41, resulting in Jujhar becoming the new promoter. The acquirer intends to revive CDG Petchem’s business, which posted a loss of ₹1.15 Cr in FY25, and may diversify operations. Jujhar, reporting a profit of ₹57.15 Cr in the 11 months ending February 2025, commits to ensuring CDG Petchem meets minimum public shareholding norms post-offer. The total offer value is ₹10.66 Cr, funded internally.
