Kotak Bank's wholly-owned subsidiary, Sonata Finance, has effectively merged with BSS Microfinance, another subsidiary. Following necessary approvals, Sonata is now part of BSS and is no longer a direct subsidiary of Kotak Bank. This consolidates microfinance operations.
