Welcast Steels Limited has announced its Board has resolved to permanently close its industrial establishment (factory) in Bengaluru, effective December 15, 2025. The decision was made due to the plant's outdated technology, high production costs, and consistent decrease in capacity utilization, making operations economically unviable. This factory contributed approximately 84.50 Cr, or 100%, of the company's turnover and 39.72 Cr, or 100%, of its net worth in the last financial year, indicating a significant operational shift.
