Indian Bank delivered solid financial results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2025. Net Profit for Q2FY26 rose 11% YoY to ₹3018 Cr, with H1FY26 Net Profit growing 17% to ₹5991 Cr. Total business expanded 12.34% YoY to ₹13.97 lakh Cr, driven by strong advances growth of 12.65% to ₹6.20 lakh Cr and deposits up 12.09% to ₹7.77 lakh Cr. RAM sector (Retail, Agri, MSME) advances were a highlight, up 15.57%.
Asset quality saw significant improvement, with Gross NPA dropping to 2.60% (from 3.48% YoY) and Net NPA at a low 0.16% (from 0.27% YoY). Provision Coverage Ratio is robust at 98.28%.
Digital initiatives are key growth drivers, with digital business surging 59% YoY to ₹1.24 lakh Cr, including strong gains in digital vehicle, home, and agri loans. New digital platforms like VBX and AI chatbots are enhancing customer experience. EPS for Q2FY26 stood at ₹89.63, with Return on Assets at 1.32% and Return on Equity at 19.58%. Capital Adequacy Ratio (CRAR) remains healthy at 17.31%.
