JSW Infrastructure delivered strong financial results for the quarter and half-year. Total revenue for Q2 FY26 increased 26% YoY to ₹1,372 Crore, with H1 revenue up 23% to ₹2,686 Crore. EBITDA also saw healthy growth, reaching ₹716 Crore (+18% YoY) in Q2 and ₹1,387 Crore (+14% YoY) in H1. While Q2 profit after tax (PAT) dipped slightly by 1% to ₹369 Crore, H1 PAT rose 13% to ₹758 Crore. Overall cargo volume increased moderately, impacted by softer iron ore exports at Paradip. However, the logistics segment, led by Navkar Corp, showed stellar operational performance with domestic cargo volumes soaring 46% and EXIM cargo up 20% in Q2.
The company is aggressively pursuing its growth strategy, aiming for a substantial port capacity expansion to 400 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) by FY30 from the current 177 mtpa. This involves strategic privatization bids and acquiring port-related logistics infrastructure. For its logistics business, JSW Infrastructure targets ₹8,000 Crore in revenue and ₹2,000 Crore in EBITDA by FY30, backed by a ₹9,000 Crore capex plan.
Recent developments include completing public hearings for greenfield ports at Keni and Murbe, acquiring an 86-acre site for a Multi-Modal Logistics Park in Kudathini, and signing a 30-year concession for the Kolkata Container Terminal. The JNPA Liquid Terminal is set to begin commercial operations by November 2025.
