Kay Power and Paper has announced that 1,600,000 convertible warrants, which were part of an earlier preferential allotment of 2,59,00,000 warrants at an issue price of Rs. 30.10 each, were not converted into equity shares by their holders. Consequently, the initial 25% subscription amount received for these specific 1,600,000 warrants, which sums up to Rs. 1.204 Cr, has been forfeited by the company. This action prevents potential equity dilution from these warrants and adds to the company's funds.
