Kings Infra Ventures welcomes the USFDA's approval of India's Turtle Excluder Device (TED), which is expected to lift the US ban on wild-caught shrimp imports. This ban was imposed due to sea turtle conservation concerns. The scientifically proven TED reduces turtle mortality by up to 97%, ensuring compliance with international standards. This decision significantly boosts traditional shrimp exporters like Kings Infra, reopening the US market which constitutes nearly 30% of India's shrimp export value. It is projected to generate ₹1,200–1,500 Cr in additional annual export revenue, reviving operations and improving livelihoods for coastal families.
