Sapphire Foods reported a mixed Q2 FY26. Revenue grew 7% YoY to ₹740.1 Cr, but adjusted EBITDA fell 24% to ₹45 Cr, with a 6.1% margin, impacted by a Navratri shift. The company recorded a net loss of ₹12.8 Cr.

KFC India saw 7% revenue growth (+10% ex-Navratri impact), maintaining flat Same-Store Sales Growth (SSSG) before Navratri. Pizza Hut India revenue dipped 6%, but its Tamil Nadu exclusive territory achieved double-digit growth, validating the brand's innovation and advertising strategy. Sri Lanka delivered strong performance, with 18% revenue growth in local currency.

The company added 19 KFC and 2 Pizza Hut outlets in India, plus 2 in Sri Lanka, bringing the total to 997 restaurants. Notably, Sapphire inaugurated its 1000th restaurant in October 2025.

Key strategies include expanding KFC's value campaigns and digital initiatives. For Pizza Hut, continued investment in marketing and a dine-in focused omni-channel approach, as seen in Tamil Nadu, is crucial for revival. Sri Lanka’s success highlights the effectiveness of this full-stack strategy.
