Karur Vysya Bank delivered strong Q2 FY26 financial results. Net Profit jumped 21% YoY to 574 Cr, with half-year profit at 1,095 Cr, up 17% YoY. Operating Profit also grew 25% YoY to 1,017 Cr for the quarter. Total business (Deposits + Advances) expanded 15% YoY to 2,03,216 Cr, driven by 15% growth in both deposits (1,10,492 Cr) and advances (92,724 Cr).
The bank continues its focus on RAM verticals (Retail, Agri, MSME/Commercial), which grew 19% YoY, now comprising 86% of total advances. Digital transformation is a key strategy, with the KVB DLite app seeing significant user engagement and new features like instant Video KYC.
Asset quality remains robust, with Gross NPA at 0.76% and Net NPA at 0.19%. Provision Coverage Ratio stands strong at 96.76%. Return on Assets improved to 1.81% (Q2) and Return on Equity to 17.94% (Q2). The bank also received awards for being the Best Private Sector Bank (Mid-size) and for Asset Quality.
