RBL Bank posted a Net Profit of Rs. 179 Cr for the quarter, with Net Interest Income (NII) growing 5% QoQ to Rs. 1,551 Cr. Core Fee Income jumped 17% QoQ to Rs. 926 Cr, and Operating Profit rose 4% QoQ to Rs. 728 Cr. Overall advances climbed 14% YoY and 6% QoQ to Rs. 100,529 Cr, keeping a 60:40 Retail:Wholesale mix. Deposits expanded 8% YoY and 3% QoQ to Rs. 116,667 Cr, with granular deposits making up 51% of the total.
Asset quality improved significantly: Gross NPA fell to 2.32% (-55 bps YoY) and Net NPA to 0.57% (-22 bps YoY). Key growth drivers include strong retail loan expansion (secured retail surged 30% YoY) and impressive digital adoption, with ~80% of new savings accounts opened digitally.
Recently, the bank rolled out four new UPI features, the NCMC-enabled RBL Bank Humsafar Prepaid Card, and QR codes on transit cards for quick reloads. Its mobile app was also rebranded to RBL MyBank for a streamlined digital experience. Management is prioritizing sustainability, targeting carbon neutrality by FY 2034 and integrating climate risk management.
