AGI Greenpac delivered steady Q2 FY26 financial results with revenue at ₹602 Cr (+0.4% YoY) and Profit After Tax at ₹76 Cr (+5.6% YoY). For the half-year (H1 FY26), revenue grew strongly by 10.6% YoY to ₹1289 Cr, while PAT surged 21.9% YoY to ₹165 Cr. Glass containers form the majority (89%) of packaging product revenue, largely driven by alcoholic beverages.
The company is aggressively pursuing growth, recently venturing into high-potential aluminum beverage cans with a new plant in Uttar Pradesh, targeting 950 million pieces annual capacity by Q3 FY28. A greenfield glass plant in Madhya Pradesh will boost capacity by 25% by March 2027. Additionally, debottlenecking efforts will increase container glass capacity to 1900 TPD and specialty glass to 200 TPD by March 2026. AGI also focuses on expanding its value-added product portfolio, including specialty glass for cosmetics and premium beverages.
Management projects an 8-9% growth trajectory, emphasizing strategic capacity expansion, diversification into new segments, and driving operational excellence for sustained long-term value creation.
