Vani Commercials' board has approved a strategic capital raise through a preferential issue of 3.22 crore equity shares at Rs 12 each. To support this and future growth, the authorized share capital will increase from Rs 13.05 crore to Rs 50 crore. Critically, the company plans to significantly expand its business scope, adding new activities in financial technology, digital payments, various lending services, stressed asset management, insurance, and securities distribution. These changes, aimed at broadening operational horizons and strengthening financial flexibility, will be presented for shareholder approval at an upcoming Extra-Ordinary General Meeting.
