Central Bank of India's Q2 FY26 Earnings Call revealed robust performance: total business grew 14.43% YoY to 7,37,938 Cr, with gross advances up 16%. Net profit surged 32.86% to 1,213 Cr. Asset quality improved, with Gross NPA at 3.01% (down 158 bps YoY) and Net NPA at 0.48%. RoA increased to 1.01%, and RoE to 14.22%.
Management outlined a vision for a digitally-enabled, customer-centric bank, prioritizing CASA growth, intensified RAM lending (targeting 65% of advances), and strategic expansion in corporate credit for a 65:35 RAM:Corporate ratio.
