Sumitomo Chemical India's Q2FY26 results showed a 6% revenue dip to ₹930 Cr and an 8% PAT decline to ₹178 Cr, mainly due to adverse monsoons impacting pesticide demand. Recent strategic investments include new plants at Bhavnagar (₹55 Cr) and Tarapur (₹10 Cr) for innovative molecules, both expected by Q4FY27. New products like 'Lentigo' (rice herbicide) are gaining market traction, and the 'Every Day Farmers’ Day' campaign significantly boosted farmer and channel partner connections.
