Tejas Networks reported Q2 revenue of Rs 262 Cr (up 30% QoQ) but a loss of Rs 307 Cr, including Rs 190 Cr in provisions for inventory and warranty. The order book stood at Rs 1,200 Cr. Management remains bullish on long-term growth, citing strong market drivers like 5G/4G expansion and AI data center connectivity. The delayed BSNL 4G add-on order (Rs 1,500 Cr) is expected this financial year. Tejas successfully launched its 4G network for BSNL across 97,500 sites and is developing a new 5G portfolio for global markets. Despite short-term challenges and investor concerns over profitability, the company continues significant R&D and sales expansion, seeing substantial market opportunities in both wireless and wireline segments.
