Organic Recycling Systems Limited (ORSL), a clean-tech company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IIT Roorkee. This partnership focuses on advancing biomass and biochar research, including biomass valorisation, biochar development for soil and water purification, and optimizing torrefaction of biomass and municipal solid waste. The collaboration leverages ORSL's industrial expertise with IIT Roorkee's research excellence to drive innovation in renewable energy and circular economy solutions. This aims to accelerate technology development in waste valorisation, strengthen India's clean energy goals, and translate research into impactful industrial applications. ORSL operates with a 400 TPD processing capacity across its facilities.
