Through a Rights Issue, the acquirer group collectively acquired an additional 10,67,380 equity shares. This acquisition boosted their combined shareholding from 64.45% (47,39,069 shares) to 66.02% (58,06,449 shares) of Sunshield Chemicals' expanded equity capital. This move strengthens Indus Petrochem's control and ownership in the target company. The equity share capital of Sunshield Chemicals expanded from Rs 7.35 Cr to Rs 8.79 Cr following the rights issue.
