NLCIL hived off 7 Renewable Energy assets (1,430 MW) to its wholly-owned subsidiary NIRL via a Business Transfer Agreement. These assets contributed Rs. 701.61 Cr revenue and Rs. 3,869.26 Cr net worth to NLCIL last fiscal, representing 4.59% and 20.67% respectively.
