Azad Engineering hit a new high in H1 FY26, with revenue up 32.1% YoY to Rs. 277.18 Cr and Profit After Tax (PAT) soaring 64.9% to Rs. 62.99 Cr. Quarterly financial results for Q2 FY26 also impressed, seeing revenue grow 28.1% to Rs. 142.67 Cr and PAT jump 56.6% to Rs. 33.00 Cr. The Energy & Oil & Gas segment was a major driver, up 35.7%, while Aerospace & Defence also saw healthy growth of 30.3%.

The company recently secured a new MoU with Safran for critical aircraft engine components, boosting indigenous defense manufacturing. A significant Phase 2 contract with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries valued at USD 7.3 Cr was signed, bringing the total Mitsubishi contract value to USD 15.6 Cr for turbine airfoils. Three new dedicated lean manufacturing facilities for Siemens Energy, GE Vernova, and MHI were inaugurated in Hyderabad, signaling capacity expansion.

Strategic focus areas include boosting wallet share with existing clients, expanding product offerings, and considering inorganic acquisitions. Technology-led optimization and geographical expansion (like the Saudi Arabia MoU) are also key. Management is confident in delivering a strong H2 FY26, projecting 25-30% full-year topline growth, backed by a robust order book including the INR 1,387 Cr Mitsubishi contract.
