Lords Chloro Alkali terminated its 9-year lease with related party Varahalakshmi Infrastructure for a new CPW plant. Reasons include the lessor's failure to obtain industrial land-use approval and unsuitable water quality. The monthly rent was Rs. 0.03 Cr. This halts the proposed expansion.
