Deccan Bearings Ltd — Important, 01-01-1970: Company Update

Acquirers launched an open offer to secure an additional 5.2 Cr (26%) of Deccan Bearings Limited shares at ₹10 each. However, no public shareholders tendered their shares during the offer period (October 10-October 27). Despite the unsuccessful open offer, the acquirers had already purchased 17.36 lakh (8.48%) shares through prior agreements. They further increased their stake by acquiring 1.28 Cr (64.11%) shares via preferential allotment. Consequently, the acquirers now collectively hold 1.456 Cr shares, representing 72.80% of DBL. Public shareholding remained unchanged at 54.21 lakh shares. This marks a significant ownership consolidation.
