IndiGo's Q2 FY26 results show total income up 10.4% YoY to INR 19,599.5 Cr. However, a significant foreign exchange loss of INR 2,892.1 Cr led to a net loss of INR 2,582.1 Cr, wider than last year. Stripping out the forex impact, the airline would have reported a profit of INR 103.9 Cr, showcasing underlying operational improvement from a prior-year loss.

Capacity (ASKs) grew by 7.8%, with passenger traffic (RPKs) up 7.7%, maintaining an 82.5% load factor. The company continues its aggressive network expansion, adding 6 new domestic and 9 new international routes, now serving 94 domestic and 41 international destinations with a fleet of 417 aircraft. Cash reserves increased 36% YoY to INR 53,515.2 Cr. Operational profitability, excluding forex, indicates robust core business performance despite currency headwinds.
