Shemaroo's consolidated revenue in Q2 FY26 fell 11.5% YoY to **143.4 Cr**, resulting in a **net loss of 45.3 Cr**. For H1 FY26, revenue was **282.9 Cr** (-10.6% YoY) with a **net loss of 91.1 Cr**. Both Digital (down 10.3% in Q2) and Traditional Media (down 12.4% in Q2) segments faced headwinds. The decline was mainly due to soft festive ad spending, subdued FMCG outlays on TV, and advertisers shifting budgets to sports. Margins are under pressure from strategic inventory write-offs.

The company is focused on strengthening its balance sheet and operational efficiency for long-term value. On the digital front, 8 new titles were released on ShemarooMe Gujarati. A key recent development was the launch of Shemaroo Josh, a new Hindi movie channel, on September 1, 2025. YouTube channels continue to grow, with Shemaroo FilmiGaane surpassing 73.5 million subscribers and Shemaroo Ent topping 60 million, collectively pulling in over 11 billion views in the quarter.

Management is cautiously optimistic for a gradual recovery in FMCG advertising spends in upcoming quarters, driven by GST stabilization and improved supply chain efficiencies.
