TCI Express reported mixed financial results for the quarter and half-year. For Q2 FY26, total income stood at Rs. 312 Cr, a slight 0.6% YoY dip but a solid 7.5% QoQ rise. Profit after tax (PAT) was Rs. 25 Cr, down 4.5% YoY but up 19.5% QoQ. H1 FY26 total income was Rs. 602 Cr with PAT of Rs. 46 Cr.
Growth was driven by specific segments: Rail Express surged 25%+, C2C Express grew 15%+, and International Air Express climbed 40% YoY. The company is actively expanding its network, adding 10 Surface, 25 Rail, and 33 Air Express branches, including new routes in Lucknow and Varanasi. Its Mumbai sorting center was also relocated to a facility three times larger.
Strategically, TCI Express plans to automate future sorting centers in Kolkata and Ahmedabad, alongside digital initiatives like Zoho CRM. It aims for new verticals like Rail, Air, C2C, cold chain, and e-commerce to contribute 20-22% of revenue in 2-3 years. The company is debt-free with strong liquidity, exploring new high-growth sectors like defense, EV, and solar energy.
