Coal India (CIL) and DVC formed a 50:50 JV to develop a 2x800 MW thermal power project at Chandrapura, Jharkhand. The JV, with authorized capital of ₹10 Cr and initial paid-up capital of ₹0.1 Cr, will also explore other thermal and renewable energy projects to boost India's energy security.
