Tata Power delivered robust H1 FY26 results. Revenue climbed 3.7% YoY to ₹33,233 Cr, with profit after tax (PAT) rising 9.9% YoY to ₹2,508 Cr. Growth was primarily fueled by strong performance in Odisha DISCOMs, solar cell and module manufacturing, and the rooftop solar business.
The company is driving a green transformation, targeting 66% clean and green energy capacity post project completions. Long-term ambitions include achieving Net Zero by 2045, Water Neutrality by 2030, and Zero Waste to Landfill by 2030. Strategic moves include an MoU for 5,100 MW clean energy projects in Bhutan and progress on pumped hydro storage.
Recent highlights for Q2 FY26 include record 370 MWp rooftop solar installations, robust cell (928 MW) and module (970 MW) production, and commissioning 293 MW of utility-scale renewables. Odisha DISCOMs notably cut AT&C losses by 1.7% year-to-date.
Management remains focused on a sustainable future, advancing towards 100% clean power generation by 2045 and leveraging technology for innovative energy solutions.
