Jyothy Labs' Q2FY26 saw modest revenue growth of 0.4% to Rs 736 Cr, with volumes up 2.8%. Half-year revenue grew 0.9% to Rs 1487 Cr. Profits (PAT) for Q2 declined 16.4% to Rs 87.8 Cr, and H1 PAT was down 10.7% to Rs 184.6 Cr, mainly due to lower gross margins. Fabric Care (Main Wash) showed Q2 growth of 6.1%, while Household Insecticides and Personal Care faced declines.
Strategy focuses on innovation and portfolio expansion. In Fabric Care, they aim to lead post-wash innovation and expand their detergent portfolio. Dishwashing will see innovation and distribution growth, while Margo (Personal Care) will leverage its neem heritage for new formats. Recently, Jyothy Labs launched 'Dr. Wool' liquid detergent for woollens. They also amplified campaigns for Ujala, Henko, Exo, Pril, and Maxo with celebrities.
Management anticipates demand improvement and GST impact normalization. Modern trade and digital channels are expected to drive growth. Margins should improve from stable commodity prices, premium launches, and better product mix. The company maintains its focus on brand investment and innovation. Cash balance stands strong at Rs 801 Cr.
