Lemon Tree Hotels posted its best-ever Q2 results, with revenue up 8% YoY to Rs. 308 Cr and PAT surging 20% YoY to Rs. 41.9 Cr. The financial results for the half-year saw revenue grow 13% YoY to Rs. 625.4 Cr and PAT jump 63% YoY to Rs. 90.0 Cr. Gross Average Room Rate (ARR) increased 6% to Rs. 6,247, and occupancy rose to 69.8%, driving RevPAR up 8% YoY.
Strategic focus includes significant renovations across owned hotels, boosting performance and allowing for rebranding and repricing. The company expanded its asset-light portfolio by signing 15 new management/franchise contracts (1,138 rooms) and operationalizing 5 hotels (272 rooms) in Q2. A major development is winning the bid for a 500+ room Aurika hotel in prime Nehru Place, New Delhi.
Management acknowledges Q2 headwinds but maintains a positive outlook for H2, anticipating increased occupancy and ARR from ongoing renovations and tech investments. Total operational and pipeline inventory now stands at 242 hotels with over 20,000 rooms.
