Godavari Biorefineries reported robust Q2 FY26 consolidated revenue of Rs. 434.3 Cr, up 34.8% YoY, with H1 revenue at Rs. 968.2 Cr (up 14.3%). Q2 EBITDA losses significantly contracted to Rs. Bio-based chemicals and Ethanol now form 58% of Q2 revenue, reflecting a positive mix shift.

Strategy involves expanding high-margin specialty chemicals capacity and diversifying ethanol feedstock with a 200 KLPD grain/maize distillery by Q4 FY26 (adding 60 Mn liters), aligning with green energy transitions. Its Jivana consumer brand also shows high growth, expanding presence and product range.

GBL launched a pilot for the world's first one-step CO₂-to-DME technology, a climate action breakthrough. In drug discovery, safety trials for a novel anti-cancer molecule are complete, with preliminary efficacy trials next.

Q2 PAT was Rs. (41.6) Cr, and H1 PAT Rs. (57.6) Cr, including a Rs. 26.7 Cr exceptional harvest charge. Finance costs decreased significantly after repaying Rs. 240 Cr debt from IPO proceeds. Management expects continued margin improvement from the restored Ethanol Blending Program and specialty chemical debottlenecking, with B-heavy molasses-based Ethanol poised for upside.
