Borosil Renewables reported strong Q2 FY26 financial results, with standalone sales up 42% YoY to ₹378.44 Cr and EBITDA surging to 33.2% (₹125.5 Cr). This growth was driven by robust domestic solar demand, stable selling prices averaging ₹147.5 per millimeter, and improved operational efficiencies. Management expressed confidence in sustaining these margins.

India's solar glass demand, estimated at 50 GW, significantly exceeds the current domestic supply of 17 GW. Borosil's 4 GW capacity expansion is on schedule, with an additional ~30 GW anticipated in the industry by March 2027. An exceptional impairment of ₹33.87 Cr was recorded for the European subsidiary Interfloat, whose future operations are under review. The company sees promising prospects within India's booming solar sector.
