Q2 financial results improved due to lower input costs and higher volumes, with INR288 Cr in net subsidy outstanding. The company is advancing a significant INR2,800 Cr capex pipeline for AN Melt II, Weak Nitric Acid, and power plant upgrades. New projects like Bisphenol A and Polyol are also being evaluated for future investments, estimated at INR7,000-8,000 Cr.

Antidumping duties on key products are set to extend for five more years. Q2 operations were smooth; production included 113,000 tonnes WNA, 40,000 tonnes CNA, 36,000 tonnes AN Melt, and 15,600 tonnes TDI. Cost-saving initiatives target 'hundreds of crores' annually. Management addressed a INR21,370 Cr Department of Telecommunication demand, confident it lacks merit. Proposed urea fixed cost revisions could substantially reduce fertilizer losses. While acetic acid and aniline face challenges, WNA, AN Melt, and Technical Grade Urea show strong performance, reflecting the company's confident strategic focus.
