Oil India anticipates stable crude oil production at 3.5-3.6 MMT for FY25-26, with H1FY26 achieving 1.69 MMT. Gas offtake is poised for significant growth, projected from 3.2-3.3 BCM in FY26 to 4.6-4.7 BCM by FY28, driven by increased supply to NRL and the pan-India grid.

Strategic focus areas include expanding pipeline infrastructure and ramping up NRL's refining capacity from 3 MMT to 9 MMT per annum. Recent developments include the Paradip-Numaligarh Crude Pipeline (PNCPL) being 88% complete, targeting Q4FY26 commissioning, and the Numaligarh-Siliguri Product Pipeline (NSPL) expansion mechanically completed. NRL's refinery units are scheduled for commissioning by Dec'25, with full capacity ramp-up by FY28. A new Polypropylene plant (360 KTPA capacity) is set for commissioning in Q1FY29, with a planned CapEx of INR 7,231 Cr.

Management foresees NRL's operational capacity reaching 4-4.5 MMT by FY27 and 7.5-8.5 MMT by FY28. The shift in product mix and petrochemical integration are expected to support Gross Refining Margin, with the Polypropylene plant specifically boosting GRM by USD 1 per barrel.
