POWERGRID partnered with Nepal Electricity Authority, forming two JVCs for high-capacity cross-border power transmission. This includes 400 kV links between India (New Purnea, Bareilly) and Nepal (Inaruwa, Lamki), with POWERGRID holding 51% in Indian JVC and 49% in Nepalese JVC.
