Grob Tea Co. is acquiring 100% of Bazaloni Group Limited for Rs 71.80 Cr cash. This strategic acquisition makes Bazaloni, a leading Assam-based tea estate founded in 1915, a wholly-owned subsidiary. Bazaloni produces 3 million kgs of premium C.T.C. teas annually from 1000 hectares. The move is set to significantly enhance Grob Tea's growth, revenue, and presence in the tea industry. Bazaloni's latest annual turnover was Rs 49.99 Cr, with a net profit/loss of Rs -1.45.
