UNO Minda Limited — JV/Acquisition, 01-12-2025: Acquisition

Uno Minda's board has approved two key strategic moves to strengthen its electric vehicle (EV) business. The company will fully acquire the remaining 49.90% equity stake in Uno Minda Buehler Motor Private Limited (UMBM) from Buehler Motor GmbH for approximately ₹0.11 Cr. This makes UMBM, which manufactures traction motors for 2W/3W EVs, a wholly-owned subsidiary. Additionally, Uno Minda will invest up to ₹40 Cr in its wholly-owned subsidiary, UnoMinda EV Systems Pvt. Ltd. (UMEVS), to support its working capital. This investment reinforces Uno Minda's commitment to expanding its EV component portfolio.
