SBEC Sugar Limited announced the outcome of an open offer by SBEC Systems (India) Limited and its PACs, which aimed to acquire up to 1.239 Cr equity shares (26% voting capital) at ₹21.19 per share, totaling ₹26.25 Cr. Despite the offer, no shares were accepted. Only 58 shares were tendered, but their holders were ineligible as they did not meet the criteria of holding shares on an identified date, as per a Supreme Court order. Consequently, the Acquirer’s shareholding remains 3.10 Cr shares (65.12%), with no change in the company’s ownership structure through this offer.
