This strategic move expands the 'MI Family' (Mumbai Indians) into The Hundred cricket league in the UK, aiming to globalize the brand and leverage MI's proven success in T20 franchises. The acquisition will see the teams rebranded as MI London from 2026. This partnership with Surrey County Cricket Club targets nurturing talent and growing the game, building on Oval Invincibles' strong track record with five league titles.
