UFlex's H1 FY26 revenue grew 3.2% YoY to Rs 7,782.8 Cr, with sales volumes up 2%. Q2 revenue, however, was flat at Rs 3,861 Cr, impacted by softer BOPET film prices and lower volumes. Normalized EBITDA for H1 stood at Rs 859.3 Cr (-5.9% YoY, 11% margin), while Q2 saw Rs 389.5 Cr (-12.4% YoY, 10.1% margin), partly due to GST transition and subdued seasonal demand. A notable turnaround, Q2 PAT bounced to Rs 26.9 Cr from a loss last year.

Strategically, UFlex is heavily investing in high-growth areas like aseptic packaging and WPP bags. Sustainability, driven by "Project Plastic Fix" (recycling plastic waste), is a core focus. Recent developments include a 5 Bn-pack aseptic expansion in Sanand, new vPET chips plants in Egypt, and a CPP line in Mexico. Upcoming projects, like a 12 Bn-pack aseptic plant in Egypt (~Rs 1,119.4 Cr) and WPP bags in Mexico (~Rs 444.2 Cr), are set to boost capacity and profitability by FY26/Q1 FY27. Management is confident in India's robust economic growth and these capacity expansions to enhance profitability and deleverage the balance sheet, targeting 24 Bn aseptic packs/year by FY26.
