KP Group, which includes KP Green Engineering, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Botswana to develop large-scale renewable energy generation, storage, and transmission infrastructure. This collaboration involves an estimated capital investment of around 36,000 crore and aims to boost Botswana's renewable energy capacity to nearly 5 GW. The partnership will strengthen Botswana's energy security and support its goal of becoming a net-zero country by 2030, while also positioning it as a clean power exporter. This significant international expansion for KP Group extends its footprint in utility-scale clean energy projects. Additionally, the group will provide 30 annual scholarships for Botswana citizens in renewable energy fields.
