Mukka Proteins has acquired a 51% controlling stake in Ocean Proteins Private Limited (OPPL) for ₹1.045 Cr, making it a subsidiary. This strategic move aims to expand Mukka Proteins' presence in the frozen fish business. OPPL is a manufacturer and exporter of frozen fish, shrimp, and surmi, enhancing the product portfolio. While OPPL posted a turnover of ₹50.70 Cr in FY25, it recorded a net loss of ₹(0.81) Cr, indicating an opportunity for turnaround and integration into Mukka Proteins' operations.
