Union Bank of India — PPTs, 14-01-2026: Investor Presentation
Union Bank of India posted strong Q3 FY26 results with Net Profit reaching ₹5,017 Cr, an 8.97% YoY increase. Advances grew 7.13% YoY, significantly boosted by an 11.50% jump in RAM (Retail, Agriculture, MSME) loans. Deposits rose 3.36% YoY, and the Domestic CASA ratio improved to 33.96%. Net Interest Income (NII) was ₹9,328 Cr, up 0.95% YoY, and Return on Assets (RoA) improved to 1.35%.
Asset quality saw remarkable improvement, with Gross NPAs falling to 3.06% and Net NPAs to a low 0.51%. The Provision Coverage Ratio strengthened to 95.13%, and credit cost dramatically reduced to 0.09% for the quarter.
The bank's strategy focuses on digital transformation, having launched 56 new digital journeys that generated over ₹25,200 Cr in lending business. Future growth is also supported by a Board-approved capital plan of ₹6,000 Cr for FY26 and an outlook to open 200 new branches in FY26-27, enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency.
