Allied Blenders and Distillers (ABDL) is acquiring a non-operational distillery and bottling facility in Uttar Pradesh from NICOL for up to ₹70 Cr. An additional ₹40 Cr will be invested for upgrades, bringing the total deal size to ₹110 Cr. This strategic move aims to boost ABDL's backward integration capabilities, enhance IMFL bottling capacity in UP, and expand distillery capacity for captive ENA consumption.
